What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade — The Short Version

Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, that range is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
